  • When: Sunday, June 29, 2025,  7:30 pm
  • Location: Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine 38 Cathedral Place, St. Augustine, FL

Antonio Vivaldi – Mandolin Concerto in C major, RV 425 (c.1725)
This Italian concerto spotlights the mandolin’s sparkling agility. Its fast–slow–fast structure offers elegant interplay and lyrical depth, with the Largo often featured in film soundtracks for its bird-like lyricism.

Wolfgang A. Mozart – Symphony No. 35 in D, K. 385 (“Haffner”) (1782)
Commissioned for the ennoblement of the Haffner family, this symphony is bursting with energy and classical refinement. Its lyrical Andante and robust final Presto make it a perennial favorite.

Piotr Szewczyk – St. Augustine Suite (2015)
Written for the festival’s 10th anniversary and celebrating the city’s 460th birthday, this four-movement suite traces local history: Timucua (indigenous roots), Atlantic Dreams (coastal imagery), Castillo de San Marcos (colonial fortress), and The Lighthouse (guiding light of the city).
