Making music with others is one of life’s simplest and truest joys!
If you sing, play guitar, harp, fiddle, bass, etc. (any Acoustic stringed Instrument … No amplifiers), bring your instrument, a folding chair and join other local amateur musicians (All ages) for a jam session.
Whether you’re a musician looking to “jam” with others or you enjoy music and want to hear your neighbors play… Audience/Singers/Players are all welcome…
Let’s come together to celebrate the beauty and power of live acoustic music in a friendly and welcoming environment. Let’s jam!
What is a “Jam Circle”?
– Think “Campfire Sing a long”… but without the campfire. We all sit around in a circle with our instruments. One after another, we all take turns calling out a song (and musical key) then leading the rest in the song. …And then it’s on to the next person. (if you don’t have a song when it’s your turn, No sweat, just “pass”). If you’re brave enough, consider taking a solo (a break) for a verse and chorus. – Lot’s of Fun! If you just want to listen or sing, you’re also welcome in the circle.
