Birding At Faver-Dykes State Park

  • When: Saturday, October 18, 2025,  8:30 am - 10:30 am
  • Location: Faver-Dykes State Park 1000 Faver Dykes RD St. Augustine FL 32086
  • Cost: Event is free with park entry fee of $5.00 per vehicle, $4.00 for vehicles with one occupant, or $2.00 per pedestrian.

Join St. John's Regional Audubon volunteers Peggy Cook, Pam Kleinsasser, and Pat Kleinsasser for a walk among lovely maritime hammock and salt marsh habitats with a diversity of birds. We hope to see a variety of birds including Reddish Egrets, migratory ducks, Bald Eagle, American White Pelican (winter), Clapper Rail, Barred Owl, Wild Turkey, Pine Warbler and Brown-headed Nuthatch. Over 20 species of wood-warbler have been recorded in the park during spring and fall migration, including Blue-winged, Cape May and Tennessee.

Bring bugspray, water and a hat!
