Join us for Unearth a Story, Saturday, July 18, where families are invited to experience a free community celebration of storytelling, creativity and exploration under our brand-new VyStar Skyscape. In partnership with the Jacksonville Public Library and their Summer Reading Challenge of the same name, this engaging event brings stories to life through live readings from local authors, interactive games and crafts, hands-on activities led by community nonprofits and visits from the Library’s Bookmobile, all designed to inspire imagination and a love of learning.

Created for children of all ages, this fun-filled event encourages families to connect through storytelling, play and discovery in a vibrant zoo setting. Admission to the event is free and takes place just outside the Zoo’s main entrance, so come explore, create and let your imagination run wild!
