Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens: Nature's Newbies

Nature’s Newbies is a 45-minute class designed for 1–3-year-olds and their caregivers. This engaging program encourages exploration through unstructured, free-choice play stations, along with songs and a storybook reading. Each session also includes an up-close encounter with one of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors, creating a positive and memorable experience. This class provides a fun, safe and nature-inspired environment for little ones to socialize and discover.
Class Schedule:
Classes are offered on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Families may register for the entire spring semester or choose individual classes, making it easy to participate in a way that works best for your schedule.
