Florida Fire Rescue Cadets Winter Fire Games: St. Johns County Fire Cadet Post 343 Winter Competition

Calling all community members, family and friends to come out and support the St. Johns County Fire Cadet Post 343 in the annual Florida Winter Fire Games! The cadets will be competing in events such as Rapid Doff and Don, Barrel (Keg) Push, Station Fitness Relay, Firefighter Relay, Victim Rescue Drill and EMS Communications Challenge.
This event is free and open to the public to attend!
St. Johns County Fire Cadet Post is a 501(c)3 program dedicated to mentoring and preparing young adults for careers in fire rescue. We accomplish this through immersive, hands-on training, leadership development, and guidance from active and retired fire professionals.
The Mission of the Florida Fire Chiefs Association Fire Cadet Section is to provide fire departments with the necessary resources to sponsor youth programs that will develop future firefighters and emergency medical providers. The section is dedicated to Home Growing Our Own by ensuring the leaders of each program have the resources to provide purposeful training in fire, emergency medicine, and leadership development. The goal for each sponsoring fire department is to provide a program that will provide the youth of their communities an opportunity to become mature young adults with good leadership and decision making skills.
