The Palm Coast Historical Society 2026 Speaker Series will highlight Black History Month on February 7, 2026, with "The Civil Rights Movement in Florida," presented by Dr. Michael Butler. This program looks at the idea that Florida did not experience the same level of tumult as other Deep South states during the Civil Rights movement is a common misconception.
