It’s your chance to fill your belly, catch a bit of high-spirited entertainment, and do right by a mighty good cause
—all in one fell swoop.
During this here hootenanny, local bigwigs and well-known faces trade in their day jobs to become Celebrity Outlaw Waiters, servin’ vittles and sweet-talkin’ folks outta tips. Every last coin they wrangle goes straight back to Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County.
These local legends round up their kin, pals, and workmates to sit in their section, and they’re mighty encouraged to dress the part. Since 2026 is the Wild, Wild West, expect spurs, stetsons, and maybe even a lawman or outlaw or two. In years past, we’ve seen politicians, superheroes, and all sorts of colorful characters. Ride into a “Tips” restaurant, and you’re sure to get supper and a show.
“Tips” is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County. All the loot raised helps spread mentoring programs far and wide, reachin’ more young’uns across the county. We pair kids up in one-on-one mentoring partnerships, backed by professionals, that change young lives for the better—clear into the future.
