Art Box Studios: Homeschool Art Class

A welcoming, hands-on studio class for homeschoolers to build creative confidence through drawing, color theory, and mixed-media exploration. Led by Emerging Artist Lissi (Henna by Lissi), students learn foundations while experimenting with materials and personal style in a supportive, small-group setting.
Perfect for:
Ages 2–18 (all experience levels). Mixed-age groups are intentionally designed to encourage peer learning and mentorship.
What we’ll do:
Guided warm-ups in line, shape, and color
Weekly project (e.g., watercolor & resist, collage, ink + wash, printmaking basics)
Creative problem-solving and composition
Optional share/reflect circle at the end of class
What’s included:
All materials provided (paper, pencils, watercolor, markers, collage supplies, etc.). Students take home finished work most weeks.
What to bring:
Water bottle and clothes that can get a little paint-y. (Smocks available.)
