Green Cove Springs: Christmas on Walnut Street

Beginning at 10am, there will be face painting and The Children's Market on Magnolia and the Jingle Bell Fun Run will follow at 11am. The run is open to walkers and runners of all ages and there is no cost to participate. The afternoon begins at 3pm with a visit from Santa at his workshop (organized by the GCS Elks Lodge Number 1892) in the Spring Park pool pavilion where he spends a few hours hearing all the kids' wish lists and is followed by live entertainment! The evening begins a beautiful night Christmas Parade organized by the Green Cove Springs Business League, right down Highway 17! This wonderful event concludes with the City Tree Lighting at 8pm and the Christmas Parade Awards. This city-wide Christmas tradition is something you don't want to miss!
