Apex Theater Studio will present two performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as part of their Bard Bus tour: their annual touring Shakespeare production on Wednesday, June 25th and Thursday, June 26th at 7:30 p.m. at the Backyard Stage at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream renders an eighty-minute, high energy version of a romantic rave, replete with music, magic, puppetry and clowning. “For me, the play explores the games we all play to give and receive love in its many forms,” remarked Raines Carr, artistic director for the production.

The company features professional actors, teaching artists and students from Apex Theatre Studio. A pre-show featuring live music, improv games and food trucks will also be part of the experience. This production is sponsored in part by the St. Johns Cultural Council and the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council.
