Ages 6 – 13
This watercolor workshop is designed for an intermediate level students to help them develop a better understanding of painting with watercolors. Participants will work on a still-life composition featuring one object and fabric while using table easels, either sitting or standing.
The focus of the workshop will be on exploring and expressing the textures and forms of fabric and the object through watercolor. Before painting, children will first position the object on paper using a pencil. While a basic understanding of composition and proportions is preferred, it is not required.
Additionally, we will cover fundamental color theory and color mixing to enhance their artistic skills.
