Lightner Museum: Whats A Hobby - Childrens Papermaking Workshop

Join a Lightner Educator in celebrating National Reading Month by making handmade paper. Participants will explore items in the museum, learn about the history of paper, and create their own paper to take home. It is going to be a real page turner!

This workshop is for children ages 5-10 years old. Parents must remain with their children for the duration of the workshop.

Whats A Hobby - Is a series of family workshops that use the Lightner Museums collection and building to explore hobbies and collecting. Founded in 1948 as the Lightner Museum of Hobbies, the museum has its origins in the hobby boom that swept America in the early twentieth century.
