Marineland Dolphin Adventure: Sea Squirts - Under the Sea with My Kiddo and Me

Sea Squirts gives you and your 3 – 5 year old child a unique Marineland Dolphin Adventure experience that focuses on conservation! This program emphasizes a specific conservation topic through a story, craft or activity, and animal observation. Activities are designed for children between 3 and 5 years of age. Siblings under 3 years old are welcome to join and are free of charge if they are not participating.
Please note:
Each program runs from 10am to 11am and again from 1pm to 2pm. We cannot accommodate early or late arrivals or departures.
All participating children regardless of age will be charged and advance registration is required!
Pricing does not include general admission to Marineland. The park is closed to the public during Sea Squirts so participants will not have access to areas not visited during the program.
2025 Dates and Themes:
February 12th: Tides and Currents
Did you know that 28,000 rubber ducks in the ocean accidentally taught us about currents? Join us for the story of Ducks Overboard to learn about how thousands of rubber ducks made their way across the globe through the ocean’s tides and currents. Sea Squirts, in their child-parent pairs, will also get to create their crafty duck friend with a map of their journey. And of course, you don’t want to miss our duck race! Sea Squirts will get to cheer on their favorite rubber duck as it races across the waves.
February 19th: Whales
Have you ever seen whales migrating right off our very own Florida coast? Now is the time to join us for the story of Little Whale as we learn about the life of gray whales and their migration through a captivating mother-daughter whale pair. Sea Squirts, in their child-parent pairs, will get the chance to jump into the story by making their very own mother whale, plus coloring in their baby whale to follow along! We will also learn all about how whales keep warm during their long migrations through an exciting blubber experiment!
February 26th: Food Chains
Food chains are an important part of every animal’s life, but how exactly do they work? For this snake edition of Food Chains our Sea Squirts, in their child-parent pairs, will learn all about food chains through our story Creep, Leap, Crunch. Through interactions with our loveable snakes Nagini and Dr. Love, we will get to see some of the snakes from our storytime in real life! And don’t miss the chance to make your very own snake food chain with our foldable craft.
