St. Johns Cultural Council: Annual Haiku Contest

The St. Johns Cultural Council celebrates National Poetry month in April with an annual Haiku contest! A selection committee will choose three First Place haiku, one each in the following categories:
Students 8 – 12
Students 13 – 17
Adults 18 and over
Authors of the First Place haiku will each receive a $100 prize, and the winning Haiku will be published on St.Johns Culture dot com, in our electronic newsletter, and the AC PAPA Literary Journal.
The committee will select up to 6 Honorable Mentions (two in each category) that will also be published on our website and in our newsletter. The author of each honorable mention will receive a $25 gift certificate.
Authors of the winning haiku will be selected and notified no later than March 31st and recognized during St. Augustine PoetFest at Flagler College on Saturday, April 12th at 3:30 PM.
