Come join us on Saturday, October 19th at 2 PM for some pre-Halloween fun and help us make Halloween cards for the organization 'Cards for Hospitalized Kids'.
We did this event last year and the kids made so many amazing cards with the BEST messages! They were so creative and you felt all the love through the cards they made.
Cards for Hospitalized Kids is a national charitable organization that was founded in 2011 by Jen Rubino. The mission of Cards for Hospitalized Kids is to provide hospitalized children with hope, joy and magic through handmade cards.
Children hospitalized around this time of the year have to cope with missing out on childhood experiences such as being able to trick-or-treat and attend Halloween festivities with friends and family. We hope that an uplifting handmade Halloween card will brighten a child's day and help to bring the fun spirit of Halloween to their hospital room.
It would be great if you could watch this short video attached prior to coming with your kids. The video explains what the organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids is all about and it will help the kids understand the meaning behind making these cards at our Halloween Card Making Party!
