Lightner Museum: Whats A Hobby Family Workshop - Geology Rocks

Join a Lightner Educator in discovering the hobby of rock and mineral collecting. Participants will explore our rock and mineral collection and have a chance to paint and decorate a rock they can take home. You don’t want to take this fun workshop for granite!
This workshop is for children ages 5 -10 years old. Parents must remain with their children for the duration of the workshop.
What’s a Hobby? are free workshops included with museum admission. Preregistration is required. Participants should arrive five minutes before the workshop starts, and meet the educator in the front lobby. The maximum number of children is 10.
