Kids, ages 7-10, are encouraged to join our Jr. LEGO Robotics class and learn how to build cool robots and program them using Python based programming using the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 robotics kits.
LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 is developed to engage and motivate elementary students interest in learning science and engineering related subjects. This is done through the use of motorized LEGO® models and simple programming. WeDo 2.0 supports a hands-on, minds on learning solution that gives students the confidence to ask questions and the tools to find the answers and to solve real-life problems.
Each month we will introduce a new project and engage in STEAM learning using colorful LEGO building elements, easy-to-use hardware, and intuitive drag and drop coding based on Python.
Classes are Free and each class lasts 1 hour. Space is limited so registration is required.
This program would not be possible without the generous support of our Friends of the Library and their fundraising efforts.
Only RSVP for each child attending the class. Do not RSVP for adults.
Please select only one class each month. This will allow more families to have the chance to participate.
