Fort Matanzas National Monument: Cannon Firing Day

The British are coming! Mark your calendars to see the cannons fire at Fort Matanzas!
Each tour will have a chance to meet members of the British Royal Navy from the 1770s and see a cannon shot! The ferry tour is the only way to access Fort Matanzas and it is free.
However, since the ferry has a limited capacity, boarding passes are required. Boarding passes can be claimed at our park visitor center starting at 9:00 AM on the same day of use on a first come, first served basis. Boarding passes may not be claimed days in advance, online, or over the phone. We offer 7 tours; the first tour departs at 9:30 AM and the last tour departs at 3:30 PM.
All tours are weather permitting; we do not operate when lightning is in close proximity or in dangerous winds. All tours are subject to cancellation without advanced notice.
