Join the Happy Wanderers during National Walking Week for these AVA-sanctioned 5km (3.1 miles) or 11km (6.8 miles) group walks in beautiful Flagler Beach, FL to include the Betty Steflik Nature Preserve area.
You may walk with the group or at your own pace. Maps and Directions are provided for the trails. Registration starts 30 minutes prior and the cost is $4.00 for participants 12 yrs old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Volksmarchers will receive AVA credit for this event.
The walk is rated 1C (flat & easy except for a portion on the beach), it is on sidewalks through the Historic District including residential streets, parks, boardwalks and groomed trails inside the nature preserve and the downtown shopping / main street area.
This walk is not suitable for wheelchairs/strollers (unless rough-terrain type.) Pets are allowed but must be leashed and picked up after.
