Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach: Free Kids Fishing Clinic

Calling all young current and future anglers to join our first Kids Fishing Clinic at the park! Upon completion of the program, all participants will receive a reel/rod combo with a starter tackle kit.
Journey through hands-on stations to discover knot tying, casting, bait and tackle, fish identification and responsible fish handling. Cast those new lines into the Intracoastal Waterway, while honing those freshly learned skills after the program.
The clinic is limited to 40 participants, ages 5-13, and free with park admission. Advance registration is required!
No fishing experience necessary and parents/guardians are required to remain on-site during the program and encouraged to accompany children through stations.
This program is being offered through contributions from Fish Florida and the Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park.
