Christmas With Our Community Heroes

Our name has changed, but the mission remains the same. Christmas With Our Community Heroes f/k/a Christmas with a Deputy was started in 2008 by retired Flagler County Sergeant Larry Jones. Larry thought up the idea while sitting at his kitchen table trying to think about how he could give back to his community during the holiday season. The first year Larry used his own money and took eight children shopping. From that year on, the organization, through the help of his Law Enforcement brothers and sisters and local community sponsors has grown to helping over 100 children each year. Larry's idea was simple, he grew up poor and didn't want children to experience what he went through during the holiday season. The focus of our organization is to help local children and families that might not be able to afford Christmas for their children without our help. We are a 501c3, not for profit organization.
OUR MISSION IS TO HELP AS MANY NEEDY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN FLAGLER COUNTY, PALM COAST, BUNNELL AND FLAGLER BEACH EVERY YEAR.
