Fort Mose Historical Society: Battle of Bloody Mose

Experience the Battle of Bloody Mose at Fort Mose Historic State Park. Its 1740. British troops have captured Spanish forts in the area—including Fort Mose. Next stop, the Castillo de San Marcos. The stakes could not be higher!

Watch as a coalition of free Black Fort Mose militia, Spanish forces and Indian allies surprise the British in an early morning raid.

There is no charge for this event. Donations and Membership enrollment in Fort Mose Historical Society are gratefully accepted.

Free general parking at County Health Department, 200 San Sebastián View. Free shuttle service begins at 8:30 am. Tipping is appreciated.

The final shuttle departs for the satellite parking lot at 3 pm
