The Heritage Landing Hammerheads is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by a Volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents throughout the community. We have a team of trained coaches who teach children how to become great swimmers and teammates, and have fun along the way.
Our season runs from April through July. During this time, we host several meets at our Heritage Landing Community Pool, and travel to other communities throughout St. Johns County. We are part of the St. Johns Summer Swim League. There are 10 teams in the league and we are considered a developmental league. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of competitive swimming, how to be part of a team, and sportsmanship!
We have swimmers from the ages of 5-18 (cannot have turned 19 before June 1st) and we practice after school until school lets out, then we switch to morning practices. Swim meets are on Saturday mornings.
