Halifax Health: Hospice Volunteering

Founded in 1979 by volunteers, Halifax Health – Hospice relies on about 300 adult and teen volunteers to care for patients and their families.

Our volunteers receive specialized training and have undergone a background check. Ongoing support and continuing education is also provided.
