Kids in the Kitchen is an exciting after-school program designed to ignite your child's passion for cooking while exploring cuisines worldwide. Our program provides a unique opportunity for children to enhance their culinary skills, develop cultural appreciation, and foster a love for global flavors.
Wendy Wood Lynch, our lead instructor, is a Family and Consumer Science Agent with UR/IFAS Extension Flagler County. Her team will guide your child through hands-on cooking activities, empowering them to prepare fun and exciting dishes from scratch. They will learn essential culinary skills such as food safety, knife techniques, ingredient preparation, and cooking methods. With a strong emphasis on nutrition and healthy lifestyles, children will enjoy a supportive and engaging environment that encourages them to experiment with flavors and express their culinary imagination.
