St. Johns County Fire Rescue: Cadet Post 343

Welcome to an educational experience in the career of Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services. This is a program sponsored by the St. Johns County Fire Rescue and Florida Fire Chiefs Association (FFCA.)

The Cadet members are composed of local youth, who have a desire to lean about a career as a Firefighter. The Advisors are members of the Fire Rescue Department and the community, and are here to guide and train the Cadets in the many aspects of firefighting, emergency medical services (EMS), and disaster preparedness.

We are a 501(c)3 program dedicated to mentoring and preparing young adults for careers in fire rescue. We accomplish this through immersive, hands-on training, leadership development, and guidance from active and retired fire professionals.
