Florida Department of Health St. Johns: The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is a federally-funded supplemental nutrition program.

WIC supports Florida Families by providing: Healthy Foods, Breastfeeding Support, Nutrition Education, Referrals to Other Services.

Families are screened nutritional risk and income eligibility. Licensed nutritionists and nutrition educators determine eligibility and provide nutrition assessment, counseling, and education to assist families in making healthier nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle choices.
