Through the use of Applied Behavior Analysis our behavioral services department provides training, which seeks to increase adaptive skills and decrease socially inappropriate behaviors and destructive or self-harming behaviors in individuals with I/DD. We provide an extensive range of behavioral services to adults and children. Our staff members are all Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Assistant Behavior Analysts and licensed professionals. Behavioral services are provided to individuals in their own homes, group homes, day programs, work sites, and other community locations.
Additionally, our behavior department has a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC, trained in behavior to address dual-diagnosed individuals, as well as, adults and children who are dealing with stressors i.e. divorce, Traumatic Brain Injury, grief, etc. that manifest as problem behaviors.
