Bird of Paradise Nature Preserve is a quiet slice of land situated on the shores of Bird of Paradise Lake. This neighborhood park has a picnic table for an al-fresco picnic or quiet reflection. A wide stretch of grass is perfect for a picnic, a peaceful yoga practice, or a game of ultimate Frisbee.

Bird of Paradise Nature Preserve has a boat launch for non-motorized craft such as canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards. A bait station and fishing line disposal container make it an ideal place to cast a line.
