Vilano Fishing Pier

The Vilano Beach Pier Pavilion is located on the river side of the Matanzas Inlet just north of St. Augustine's historic district. The whole community of Vilano Beach has a lovely retro look to it, with tiled fountains and Art Deco details throughout, and the pier fits the theme perfectly.

Visitors are greeted with the novelty dolphin sculpture archway at the pier entrance, along with a whimsical statue of a bird with the message "Happiness is Vilano Beach, Florida." The pier is one of the many excellent places to fish in St. Augustine, and serves as a venue for Vilano Beach events like the Sunset Celebration.

The Vilano Beach Pier is free to the public. Visitors on vacation can catch the sunset from the pier as they look over to the city skyline.
