Marineland Dolphin Adventure in St. Augustine, Florida offers summer camps for the young nature lover. With activities for children from seven to seventeen years of age, S.E.A. Camp (Seaside EcoAdventure) and T.E.E.N. Camp (Teaching Environmental Education in Nature) have something for everyone!
Based at Marineland and extending out to wild habitats in all directions, our camps aim to teach children about conservation, respect, science, careers, animal care, and environmental awareness. Depending on the age of the child, campers may have the opportunity to participate in data collection for active science projects, kayak in the intracoastal, snorkel with fish and rays in Marineland’s lagoon, learn about Marineland’s rescue and rehabilitation efforts, participate in a beach clean-up, and of course have hands on time with dolphins!
Located on A1A, steps from the ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Flagler County’s River to Sea Preserve Park, Marineland provides a wonderful home base for this nature-focused camp. Children should come prepared to be outdoors and on their feet for the majority of the day, with their spirits of adventure and exploration keenly primed! The experienced and well-trained team of camp counselors are supported by scientists, nature guides, and animal care professionals to ensure that every camper is safe, inspired, challenged, and informed throughout our entire program.
The grand finale of our summer camp programs includes a formal graduation as well as an in-water dolphin encounter with Marineland’s resident dolphins and their dedicated trainers. Photos from this unforgettable encounter as well as the entire week preceding it will be provided to every family. Both S.E.A. and T.E.E.N. Campers are provided with a camp t-shirt, a refillable water bottle, an activity journal, and Marineland backpack. Daily snacks are also provided but individual bagged lunches must be brought from home daily.
