Ancient City Photo: Photography Summer Camp

Ancient City Photo’s Summer Photography Camps are immersive, hands-on half-day experiences designed to help kids and teens see the world differently through a lens. Students build confidence, creativity, and real photography skills while shooting on location throughout St. Augustine.
Each week is a standalone camp, and families register for either a morning OR afternoon session.
Camp Dates & Weekly Focus

Week 1: June 1–5, 2026
Foundations of Photography
A creative and skill-building week focused on composition, lighting, and learning how photographers see. Perfect for beginners and returning students who want a fresh perspective and stronger fundamentals.

Week 2: June 15–19, 2026
People & Motion
Students explore how to photograph people, emotion, and movement through portraits and action-based challenges. This week is all about storytelling, energy, and capturing real moments on location.

Week 3: June 29–July 3, 2026
Creative & Advanced Techniques
Designed for students ready to push further, this week focuses on refining personal style, creative projects, and selecting standout work for presentation and showcase.

Each session is a separate group with limited enrollment to keep instruction hands-on, supportive, and engaging.

Locations
Classes meet on location, rotating throughout St. Augustine and South St. Augustine. Final drop-off locations will be shared with families in advance.

Final Art Show
Each camp week wraps up with a Final Art Show during the last 30 minutes of class on Friday. Students select their favorite images and present their work for family pickup — a fun and confidence-boosting way to celebrate everything they’ve learned.

Pricing:
Half-Day Camp: $425 per student, per week (Bird Discount $395 before April 1st)
Sibling and multi-week discounts available
Camera rental available: $50 per camp week
