Diamonds in the Rough Horse Farm

Recognizing that there are few alternatives for aging horses that have been long-time faithful servants, the organization’s primary goal is to provide a permanent home for retired horses when they can no longer perform their job.

Because St. John’s County, FL does not have an animal welfare program in place for farm animals, the farm also handles rescue cases involving everything from goats, pigs and chickens in addition to the horses. They are rehabilitated and placed in new forever homes when the time and situation are appropriate.
