FOSAA Children’s Music and Arts Camp

Summer Music & Art Camp is for kids in the first through the sixth grade. Camp Rock, back after a four-year hiatus, is a unique experience for teens 12 to 18 years of age. Both camps are designed to encourage children to appreciate and explore the arts.
The Summer Music & Art Camp is designed for first- to sixth-grade kids. The camp is divided into three periods: music, art, and group. During the music period, campers can explore one of five instruments, based on their age: ukulele, guitar, rhythm, percussion, and recorder. Students can focus on multi-projects during the art period. Offered Monday, June 24th through Friday, June 28th, the five-day camp is $175/child, plus a $25 non-refundable deposit. There is a $25 sibling discount.
Camp Rock is a one-of-a-kind band experience for teens. This camp focuses on rock music instruction and organization. Kids can focus on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or vocals – they must have some experience. Instructors will then group students into bands that will perform on the main stage of the St. Augustine
Amphitheatre and, through a generous partnership with Jim Stafford of Eclipse Studios, record their songs in a professional recording studio. Camp Rock is Monday, July 22nd through Friday, July 26th, with studio time scheduled from Monday, July 29th through Thursday, August 1st. The cost is $300 per camper and includes a non-refundable $25 deposit. Fees may be pre-paid on the FOSAA website. Scholarships are available; parents and/or guardians should submit a letter explaining why support is needed with their application. For more information or to fill out the application, visit here.
