Whispering Pines Park

Looking for a park with free admission and fun for the whole family? You need not look any further than Whispering Pines City Park. This 290-acre park complex, located only minutes from downtown and nestled among pine and hardwood trees, boasts active recreation in a pristine setting.

-Water playground - "Puddle in the Pines"

-Swimming Pool -

-Tennis, racquetball and basketball courts are all free of charge. Courts are lighted for evening play.

-Pickleball in the Pines"is now located at our tennis courts. -Walking, hiking & mountain biking trails

-Disc Golf - An 18 hole disc golf course winds its way through the trees and hills of the park. Discs, score cards, map and information about the game are available at the Administration building or at the pool during public swim hours.

-Dog Walking - Dogs are welcome, as long as they are controlled and on a leash. Out of respect for all users of our trails, please pick up after your pet! We've installed waste stations equipped with plastic bags for cleaning up after pets.
