 6th Annual Touch-a-Truck event back to Central Park in Town Center on Satur
 day, May 16 – a prelude to American Public Works Association’s National Pub
 lic Works Week, which is celebrated from May 17-23 this year.\n\nThe week, 
 founded in 1960, and declared via proclamation by President John F. Kennedy
  in 1962, has been recognized annually at the national level during the thi
 rd week of May ever since – growing in popularity and spawning events acros
 s the country among the 30,000+ members of the APWA. This year will mark th
 e 6th outing of Palm Coast’s annual Touch-a-Truck event, which offers the c
 hance for attendees to get up close and personal with work vehicles and mac
 hinery of all shapes, sizes, and modalities.
X-EXTRAINFO:A special horn-free hour for those with sensory sensibilities will take pla
 ce from 10-11am. Convenient parking will be available along Central Ave and
  City Place, while Park Street, and Lake Ave will be closed as they will be
  utilized for the event.
