DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Join the Florida Naturalist Experience Institute of Natural Conservation (F
NE INC) for a special coastal edition of our signature outdoor experience a

landscape that has largely disappeared from Florida’s coastlines. Anastasi
a State Park protects more than 1,600 acres of pristine beaches, tidal mars
hes, dunes, and maritime hammock, where ancient live oaks, cabbage palms, a
nd dense understory plants create a cool, shaded refuge just steps from the
Atlantic Ocean. These hammocks are among the most biologically diverse coa
stal habitats in the state and provide critical shelter for migratory birds
, native wildlife, and resilient plant communities shaped by wind, salt, an
d sea.
Led by our Certified Florida Master Naturalists, guests will en
joy a guided interpretive walk through this remarkable environment, learnin
g how coastal hammocks form, why they are so rare, and the vital role prote
cted lands like Anastasia State Park play in Florida’s long-term conservati
on efforts.

Following the hike, guests will gather for a chef-pr
epared, three-course seafood feast, thoughtfully designed to celebrate Flor
ida’s coastal flavors. Prepared fresh on-site, this elevated dining experie
nce transforms the afternoon into a memorable blend of education, community
, and cuisine—surrounded by one of the state’s most beautiful natural setti
ngs.
Whether you come for the learning, the food, or the chance to slo
w down and connect with nature, this experience offers a meaningful way to
engage with Florida’s wild coast.

Tuition includes:
-A guid
ed interpretive walk through Anastasia State Park’s coastal hardwood hammoc
k
Educational insights from Certified Florida Master Naturalists
