Historic Florida Militia: Saunter Program

Historic Florida Militia, Inc. is pleased to announce the Saunter program in association with the St Johns County Cultural Council.
Living history interpreters present a timeline of Saint Augustines colonial history in the towns historic district from the City Gates down St. George Street to Aviles Street, the oldest street in the United States.
Participants present themselves to the general public in the garb and gear of the citys military and civilian colonial environs from 1513 to 1784 and answer questions related to Saint Augustines rich history, pose for pictures with tourists and visitors, and provide information about the Historic Florida Militia, which presents the program in conjunction with the City of St. Augustine.
