Ancient City Poets: Annual Come in Costume

Join the local poetry community for the annual “Come in Costume” open mic. Books by local authors awarded for best costumes in three categories.
Share your polished poems or bust out fresh ink from your notebook during St. Augustine’s longest-running open mic poetry event. Invite a friend or two or three. Ancient City Poets has always been open to the public and there is no charge at the door to get your name on the list. Books by local authors will be given away as prizes in three categories: best literary costume, most creative, and best teen costume.
This free event takes place at The Waterworks. Sign-up begins at 2:30 with readings starting at 3 p.m. The first 15 names on the sign-up sheet will be called in the order that they appear on the list.
